Hearing Protection (Ear Molds): Custom-made noise protection earmolds, Swim molds, Custom-made cellphone ear pieces. People who do not want water in their ear canals can have floatable swimmer's ear plugs made of a water resistant material which can even be made to change colors!
Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) FM Systems: You may have certain communications needs that can't be solved alone by hearing aids. For example, when you use the telephone or listen to the radio, you still may have difficulty hearing clearly.
Special devices have been developed to solve these problems. Assistive listening devices make specific desired sounds, rather than all sounds (in the surrounding environment) louder for more clarity.
